Winning Windows!

Hello, Awesome one!

The moment is here! It is time to reveal the border that will be the finisher of the Hogs N Kisses Afghan! I asked all the groups I'm in on Facebook for their opinion on the borders. Below are the results:

As you can see, not many people voted, which is why EVERY vote counts! The winner is.....

So, my thought process with this border is as follows: the first & second rows are grey single crochet (one with chains), these will stay the same and I will be using dark grey. Next is a row of grey double crochet, this will be changed to 2 rows of single crochet & I will be using the 2 mandala yarns (1 for each row). Finally, there is a row of singles & dropped doubles, I will be keeping this the same as well & it will also be dark grey.

I also had a thought to try and adapt the Jasmine Lacy border on top of this, but I haven't fully decided on it yet. I'm going to wait until I have the Windows border complete before making a decision. I aim to complete joining the rows & doing the border by next week, June 3rd. I will finish typing up the pattern once the border is complete & it will then be ready for testing. WOOO!! 😊

I also plan on adding a backing to my blanket with cotton & either fleece or flannel. We'll have to wait and see what the stores have as far as designs. 😉 And yes, I will be doing a discussion on this process.
