• I Love This Cotton Yarn (or similar)

  • I used Curry, but any color may be used​

• G/4.0 mm, or size needed to achieve gauge

• Tapestry Needle

• Scissors

SC: Single Crochet

SS: Slip Stitch

FDC: Foundation Double Crochet

DC: Double Crochet

CrDC: Crossed Double Crochet

ST(S): Stitch(es)

YO: Yarn Over

FO: Finish Off

Body

Row 1: FDC x 23. {23 DC}

Row 2-5: CH 2. Turn. CrDC x 7, DC. {1 CH2, 7 CrDC, 1 DC}

Row 6: CH2. Turn. DC x 22. {1 CH2, 22 DC}

Edging: CH 1, (SC x 8, SC in the corner x 3, SC x 21), SC in the corner x 3, repeat the ( ), SC in the corner x 2, SS to beginning CH 1. FO. {69 SC}

Top Flaps

**Make 2**

SS to top RH corner.

Row 1: SC in same ST, SC x 11. {12 SC}

Row 2-5: CH 1. Turn. SC across. *Work first & last ST into sides of body* {12 SC}

SS to next ST of body. FO. ***ROTATE 180° ***

Cross Ties

SS to bottom LH corner.

Row 1: CH 19, CH 1 into the top RH corner, CH 1. Turn. {21 CH}

Row 2: SC into 2nd CH from hook *this will be the 20th CH*, SC x 18. SS into beginning ST. FO. {19 SC, 1 SS}

***ROTATE 180° ***

SS to bottom RH corner AND corresponding ST in body.

Row 1: CH 9, CH 1 into 1st tie at the 10th SC, CH 9, CH 1 into the top RH corner, CH 1. Turn. {21 CH}

Row 2: SC into 2nd CH from hook *this will be the 20th CH*, SC x 18. SS into beginning ST. FO. {19 SC, 1 SS}

Back Ties

**Make 2**

SS to 6th SC of cross tie.

Row 1: CH 14. Turn. {14 CH}

Row 2: SC into 2nd CH from hook, SC x 12. SS into beginning ST. FO. {13 SC, 1 SS}

Using a tapestry needle, weave in tails. Trim any excess.
