The Many Months of July

Again, I'm late to the party. I thought I would do a roundup this time for the National month celebration for July (Pride month for June, Black History month in February, etc.) Turns out, there are several, and some are.....interesting. For instance, let's look at the list below, courtesy of Nationaldaycalendar.com:

  • Independent Retailer Month

  • National Contract Sewing Month

  • National Anti-Boredom Month

  • National Cell Phone Courtesy Month

  • National Culinary Arts Month

  • National Baked Beans Month

  • National Blueberry Month

  • National Horseradish Month

  • National Hot Dog Month

  • National Ice Cream Month

  • National Peach Month

  • National Grilling Month

  • National Picnic Month

  • National Hemp Month

  • National Fragile X Month

  • World Watercolor Month

So, which nifty celebration(s) to pick? Well, I thought the most crochet appropriate choices would be: Culinary Arts, Hot Dog, & Hemp. Onwards to the roundup!

National Culinary Arts Month

Food. Everyone loves it, but do we appreciate those who make it? Not usually. This month try making one of these awesome patterns for that culinary artist in YOUR life:

National Hot Dog Month

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog! Hot dogs are everywhere: we eat them at baseball games, they have their very own stands on streetcorners, & we even associate an actual dog with them! Celebrate National Hot Dog Month with one of these "Hot diggity Dog" patterns:

National Hemp Month

Hemp. Controversial, long-lasting, & ecofriendly. Celebrate National Hemp Month by using non-other than Hemp yarn & these patterns:

And there you go! Time to celebrate with crochet! Enjoy your 4th of July weekend with lots of fun, family, & (crochet) hot dogs! 😉 Make sure to become a member in order to stay up-to-date with the newest post!

Be well & stay awesome! 😎
